Meet Kate

My story began with a deep dive into perinatal care, prompted by my own preparations for a home birth with my first child. This sparked my passion for supporting others to transition from the world of athletics and sports medicine to parenting.  I made the decision to focus on perinatal support, including working with families to foster ease and comfort through Craniosacral Therapy (CST).

With over 6 years of babywearing experience, I understand the intricate dynamics of parenthood and the importance of supporting the whole family through movement and touch. As a military spouse, life has taken me on a journey that led me to Maryland, where I now have the opportunity to bring my expertise to support local families.

In my practice, I offer a wealth of knowledge, combining extensive training in therapeutic care and hands-on experience. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training and Sports Psychology, as well as a Master of Science in Kinesiology (Athletic Training/Sports Medicine). My Craniosacral Therapy training includes certifications from the Beames CST Training Centre and the renowned Upledger Institute. Additionally, I’ve had the honor of participating in an in-depth mentorship program with Austin, gaining invaluable one-on-one experience to deepen my understanding of this specialized therapy.

My focus is on helping families find ease in movement, release soft tissue restrictions, and particularly support those facing oral restrictions. I know how important it is first hand for both parents and children to feel comfortable and supported in their bodies, which is why I aim to provide a healing, nurturing environment that allows for growth, comfort, and lasting change. My desire is to help during transformative times, to find a path that feels easeful and authentic to your journey.
